2026-27 UNCG Softball Lil’ Sis Program

The UNCG Softball Lil’ Sis Program is designed to give young girls the opportunity to connect with a UNCG softball student-athlete on a more personal level. You do not need to be local to North Carolina to be a part of this program! Each Lil’ Sis will be paired with a current UNCG softball player who will serve as a Big Sis, mentor, and positive role model throughout the season. The purpose of this program is to create meaningful connections between young athletes and our student-athletes while providing an opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun together. Throughout the program, Lil’ Sis will be able to experience what it is like to be part of the UNCG softball family and build relationships with the players they look up to.

Throughout the season, Big Sis will connect with their Lil’ Sis through letters and opportunities to spend time together at UNCG softball events. These interactions are designed to encourage young girls, build confidence, and provide them with a positive example of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication, teamwork, and a love for the game.

What Your Lil’ Sis Will Receive & Be a Part Of

Whether your Lil’ Sis lives locally or out of town, she will be an important part of the program! We want every Lil’ Sis to have the opportunity to build a relationship with her Big Sis and feel connected to the team.

All Lil’ Sis will receive:

-Lil’ Sis T-shirt
-Signed team picture
-Monthly letters from their Big Sis
-Opportunities to connect with their Big Sis in-person

For Lil’ Sis who are not able to attend in person:

-Opportunity to connect with their Big Sis virtually

Out-of-town Lil’ Sis are absolutely welcome! While some Lil’ Sis may not be able to attend games or in-person events, they can still participate fully in the program through letters, virtual connections, and other activities with their Big Sis. If an out-of-town Lil’ Sis is able to make it to in-person events, we would love to have her join us!

The program is open to any and all entrants and is only limited by age and number of participants.
